CURATORIAL + PROGRAMMING

Juli Lowe has fifteen years o experience collaborating with artists, commercial galleries, and museums. As the former long-time Director at Catherine Edelman Gallery and Director at PATRON Gallery, she has traveled extensively, attending and participating in art fairs throughout the United States and internationally. Juli has curated solo and group exhibitions including New Formations; Selina Trepp: I'm thinking about painting; Emma McKee: Championship Bulls Banners; Kiki McGrath: 8hrs; Tanya Lunina: Rhythm of the LakeKelly Kristin Jones: Rib of Disaster; Michelle Hartney: Unplanned parenthood: letters to an army of millions; and Michele Pred: Equal Pay. In 2022, she started an annual commission for a site-specific video projection series titled Rm 921, and an Artist in Residence program in response to seeing a need for prolonged engagement with artists. 

ARTIST SERVICES

With a deep knowledge of and passion for contemporary photography and art, Juli promotes the work of unrepresented and established photographers through exhibitions, acquisitions by private and public collections, and press outlets. She leads courses about pricing artwork, offers private coaching and portfolio reviews. Juli uses her extensive knowledge of the market to help artists develop strategic marketing plans focusing on digital media, design immersive installations, build exhibition proposals, and establish prices and edition sizes. COLLABORATIONS

Juli is constantly engaged in contemporary photography and art. She is an Advisory board member for the The Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture, on the review committee for exhibition proposals at Filter Space (2019+2020), and acted as a juror for many photography competitions including Context 2021, The Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture, All About Photo Awards 2020 'The Mind's Eye' and Lens 2016 International Juried Photography Exhibition.
